We had a wonderful time at Andy’s place — it was perfect for our group of old college friends. The check in was very easy with keys left for us and plenty of instructions on how to work everything. There was some welcome wine and some cold cuts and bread, which is thoughtful if your plane gets in really late. The photos of the premises are entirely accurate. It has the charm and comfy casual elegance of traditional English homes, and so gives one a much more authentic experience than one would find at a hotel. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is good. The neighborhood is very, very central and it is very close to the Tube with easy access to other parts of the city. The mews themselves are very private in feel and remarkably quiet! The immediate area is quite posh, with many foreigners. But the park is just a short walk away, the shopping on Kings Road is also a very pleasant walk, and there are 3 small grocery stores just a few minutes walk which was very handy. We ordered Indian take-away from the Handi restaurant just moments away, and it was some of the best we’d ever had. We especially loved the rooftop terrace. Wonderful to sit up there with the sun setting, the nightingale singing in the mews, with old friends and some good wine. We also loved the piano in the sitting room, as one of our number plays beautifully and did. It was a wonderful experience. Andy himself, with whom we communicated via text and phone, is very personable and friendly, and clearly wants his guests to enjoy the house, which we thoroughly did. We were sorry to leave, and would highly recommend.
Stayed with a family of 7, including 81 year old grandmother. Great house. Great location. Great Host. All very simple and convenient. Most importantly house layout worked and photos truly reflected the property, unlike other AIRBNB properties. House was uncluttered and very tidy, more like a serviced apartment. We have rented 7 plus AIRBNB and this was by multiple times better than what we have stayed at. Thank you.
A lovely and slightly quirky mews house that is perfectly located. I would certainly rent again if traveling with my young family.

Four family members stayed happily and comfortably in this lovely home. Andy was a great host and responded to any questions very promptly. The location was perfect, close to our “go to” museum, The Victoria & Albert, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The street was very quiet and charming. Would definitely recommend to stay here!
Andy’s beautiful 5 bedroom home is old school with a perfect blend of old world charm that my family appreciate . The bathrooms are great .The kitchen has all the requirements for a big family .We all came to London to celebrate my Mother’s 80th Birthday (from Australia ), my Uncle came from America and my entire family from New Delhi including my two grandchildren age. A perfectly situated home as its a stones throw from Harrods and all the food stores & restaurants are around the corner. I highly recommend it as a home away from home .
Our family (kids aged 5;4;2) stayed together with two nannies. The house was as comfortable and pleasant as it could be. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, cosy reception. My wife and I slept on the top floor and had good privacy without being too far away. Kids 5 and 4 had a large room they could play in. Kid 2 had room to himself, with a cot that we forgot asking for so Andy came especially just to provide it. The neighborhood is splendid. Very silent and private, while at the same time being close to all the museums, shops and attractions of Knightsbridge and South Kensington, the tube is very close, as are several bus lines. The park is as close as can be. Great place. Looks in life even better than in the pictures.

Andy’s house is fantastic for a short or long stay. We stayed for 10 days and had no issues at all. The location is great with the surrounding streets being very quiet while only a five min walk to either Hyde park or Harrods. Whenever we had any questions Andy was very responsive and helpful. As a large family we would definitely stay here again.
